In the WINGS coverage of the 50th anniversary of de Havilland's Tiger Moth in the September issue John King provided a historical sketch of the aircraft's contribution to New Zealand aviation. This issue continues the coverage with a "what are they like to fly" piece by veteran pilot Paul Legg and a 1981 Tiger Moth census by Aviation Historical Society member Gavin Woodward.
