Making history: Concorde, Leaving Auckland like its never been left before

THEY FLEW in from Invercargill, they drove from Hamilton and Rotorua. Fifty thousand was it? Maybe sixty or eighty thousand. Who could count when all eyes were skyward. That vast crowd had come for a slice of history of a sort unseen since the Southern Cross.. this was Concorde.
